Mr. B’s Light and Bright Newborn Photos :: Newton MA Photographer

I have two main sets in my studio. One has a dark wood wall back drop and dark wood paneling floor. And the other one is what I refer to as my rustic white: white wood plank wall (complete with knots in the wood) and a gray-white floor. I also have other options, including seamless paper background, a white curtain, and even stylized backgrounds. And of course, when it comes to newborn photos, many times the “background” ends up being a blanket or fur since baby is laying down. All of these options give me the ability to customize to any color scheme or style. In this case, many of the family photos were taken in front of the white curtain that I use for silhouette photos. This gives such a bright, light, airy quality to the photos. For the rest of the newborn photos I balanced the dark, modern look with some light and bright set designs. I love the variety!
