Happy First Birthday Family Portraits :: Andover MA Photographer
Mr. J’s family chose to celebrate his first birthday with baby and family portraits! This family of five live in Andover, so they didn’t have a very long journey to get to my studio. It might have been Mr. J’s birthday, but he shared the spotlight with his parents and two big sisters. I had photographed big sister’s cake smash, and middle sister’s newborn photos and cake smash photos before Mr. J completed their trio. I love getting to see kiddos I have photographed in the past grow up. For this session biggest sister Miss E was five and middle sister Miss M was 3. It was so great to catch up and see how much everyone has grown.
For the solo portraits of Mr. J, some props to keep him happy and distracted included a wooden train, some blocks, and a soccer ball. One of the must have photos requested by mama was of Mr. J sitting in front of the dark background holding a block. Both big sisters had very similar photos from their 1 year sessions. I love being able to recreate these past shots in subsequent sessions. Keep scrolling for more of these first birthday family portraits!
