Bright and Sunny Family Pictures in the Park :: Wakefield MA Photographer

I met up with this sweet family of four near Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield MA for some bright, sunny family pictures. This location was absolutely gorgeous. It was a very hot June day, almost 100 degrees! So here is your official reminder to dress accordingly for the weather when it’s an outdoor session. You never know what you’re going to get in New England. And while this location was so beautiful, there weren’t a ton of shady spots. But we managed to find some spots to get out of the sun. This was helpful for both for heat reasons and to help with the lighting for the photos. One important thing about being a professional portrait photographer: you must be ready for anything and able to go with the flow.

These two brothers were so great during these bright sunny family pictures. Big brother was 3.5 and an absolute delight to photograph. Baby brother was just under a year and was smiling the entire time. This family was sweet, adorable, and such a great family to work with. I love how the photos turned out!
