Sweet Miss H was in my studio for cake smash and family photos back when she was newly one. I had previously photographed big sister Miss E for her cake smash, which you can see here: Andover Baby Family Photography. For this session it was mom, dad, grandma, big sister, and Miss H. We started off with some family portraits. This of course included some photos with grandma, which I absolutely love. The sister photos of Miss H and Miss E are some of my favorites, as well! It was so sweet how much Miss H loved her grandmother and big sister! Then it was time to go into the cake smash, which was full of red, pink, and gold!

Choosing A Color Palette for Your Cake Smash Session

One thing I love about this cake smash session is how unique the color scheme is. The soft pink, the deep red, and the gold are such a beautiful combination. Big sister Miss E had teal, lilac, and gold for her cake smash. This was another color palette that was unique and unexpected and so beautiful. I love that this family isn’t afraid to get creative with their colors! This is great inspiration for someone who might not want an intricate theme for their cake smash, but still want it to be unique and creative. Cake smash photos are the best time to get creative, and this is just one way to do it!
