Mr. C’s 1 Year and Cake Smash Photos :: Acton MA Photographer

Here at Crabapple Photography in Andover MA we love celebrating milestones with families. And while we don’t choose favorites, cake smash sessions are definitely near and dear to our hearts. This little man came from Acton with his family (which included mom, dad, and two big sisters) to celebrate his first birthday with some 1 year and cake smash photos. We got lots of family and sibling portraits before the focus turned to Mr. C. Some solo portraits with a soccer ball (which we also used in his Acton Newborn Photos), my wooden O N E letters, and the bubble machine made an appearance as well. And then it was time to get down to business with the cake smash. Some balloons in shades of blue floated at just about head level while Mr. C had fun, and got messy, with his ombre blue birthday cake. A ONE banner and some confetti filled clear balloons added a little extra festive charm.

In amongst the celebrating, I was also sure to grab some solo portraits of each big sister. I have photographed both Miss M for her newborn, sitter, and one year sessions. And Miss R for her newborn, sitter, and one year sessions. As well as the entire family numerous times over the years. Plus this was my third milestone session with Mr. C since I had previously photographed his newborn and 6 month sessions, too.
