Miss N’s Newborn Photos with Extended Family :: Marblehead MA Photographer
If you’re looking for inspiration for newborn photos that includes soft florals, special touches, and most importantly extended family, then you have come to the right place. For Miss N’s newborn portraits it was all about celebrating the family. Both sets of grandparents (and even Miss N’s great grandmother!) came along for the session. We started off with some family portraits. Making sure that Miss N had photos snapped of her with each side of the family and all the other combinations of family members. Including one of all the ladies of the family. Then we let all of the extended family have a break while we focused on the brand new family of four for some newborn portraits. And can’t forget the sweet sister portraits of Miss N and her big sister, Miss T! But then it was time for the spotlight to be on Miss N. In the styling questionnaire mom mentioned moons and stars, florals and greenery, and a little golden crown. All of which make appearances if you keep on scrolling!
Including Special Touches and Special People in Your Newborn Photos
One of the things I love most about this newborn portrait session is how special it is. And not ONLY because of all the special people and extended family that came together to celebrate Miss N’s arrival with newborn portraits. There were also special and personal touches when it came to props and accessories. Mom really loves tea (check out her tea Instagram account @TeaTidbits!) and brought along the cutest little knit tea accessories for the session. Not only are they precious, but I love that they’re so meaningful to mom. There is something extra special about having the props from baby’s newborn photos in your home after the fact. I can just imagine Miss N and Miss T having little tea parties with these sweet props. If you’re considering including special props or extended family in your newborn portraits, I vote go for it!
