There are so many things to love about two year olds. They’re fun, curious, and often hilarious. They’re sweet and a little sassy. All in all, I love the two year old chapter. Toddlers definitely keep you on your toes, but in the best way possible. Photographing two year old children can seem like a challenge–and there can definitely be some challenges. But over the years I have picked up some tricks and it’s safe to say I am up for the challenge! Miss C came from West Newbury MA for her 2 year photos. Styling Inspiration for Toddler Pictures

I love yellow, and I love when parents choose yellow as a focal point for their child’s portraits. Whether it’s newborn, one year, or toddler photos. Yellow is such a happy color. In this case, a lot of the yellow came from some big faux sunflowers. Is there any flower happier than a sunflower?! They were the perfect choice to add a pop of color to these 2 year old photos.

We had a few different outfit changes and set changes during this session. Sometimes it can be tricky to have too many changes during a session with toddlers. Some kids are just easy going, and that was the case with this little one. She was perfectly content having a mini fashion show along with her photoshoot.
