Mr. J’s Newborn Pictures :: Cambridge MA Photographer

This family of three from Cambridge MA were in my studio celebrating their new arrival with newborn pictures. We started the session with some family photos to get everyone comfortable. And then it was time to move onto solo photos of Mr. J. He was very alert for a lot of this session, but super calm. This meant I got lots of great wide eyed shots. This is definitely not always the case for newborn photos! He did eventually fall asleep and I was able to get all of those sweet asleep poses.

Before any session I send a questionnaire asking about color schemes, must have photos, and other styling questions. For this Cambridge newborn photo session, the parents already had some ideas. Mom mentioned that dad liked sports and animal themes. And that she really loved the swaddled photos inside of props. I think it’s safe to say we accomplished all of that!
