Family Pictures with Grandmother :: Reading MA Photographer

I met up with this sweet family for some Reading MA outdoor family pictures. I had photographed them a few times in the past, starting with little bro Mr. A’s newborn photos. Over the years since then I’ve photographed them a few more times. This Reading MA Family Photos sibling session is still one I think about all the time! I’ve also photographed mom’s sister’s family, including Mr. A and Miss T’s cousins! This was an outdoor family session, something that I am always thrilled for. It was a July evening right around sunset. It had been raining that week, and we thought that the rain might throw a wrench in our plans. But thankfully, the rain held off and we got to have a gorgeous evening for family pictures near Reading MA!

Mom had mentioned in an email before this session that she would be bringing her mom along for the session. Mainly to help wrangle the kids (and family dog). She asked if her mom could pop into a few photos. And I always say yes to including the grandmother in family pictures!

Styling for Outdoor Family Photos

I love that this family went full coordination for the styling of their Reading family pictures! Mom and Miss T were in matching mommy and me blue and white dresses. While dad and Mr. A went for the classic white button down and navy shorts. The kiddos’ beautiful grandmother also got into the chosen color scheme in a dark navy dress. Sometimes it can be hard to decide how to dress for family photos. Especially when they’re outside. Sticking with classic color schemes like white and navy is a great option. Plus it’s easy to find something for the whole family!
