Mr. N’s Wild One Themed Cake Smash Photos :: Tewksbury MA Photographer
I was lucky enough to celebrate Mr. N’s first birthday with some cake smash photos when he came to my studio from nearby Tewksbury. He brought along big sis Miss A for some portraits, too. Some sweet photos of the brother and sister pair and some solo portraits of Mr. N started the session. And then it was time to bring out the cake! We went with a Wild One theme for his cake smash session. Little Dude was surrounded by tigers, elephants, and monkeys as he sat as the king of the jungle himself. Some animal print balloons, tree motif background, and faux greenery provided the rest of the backdrop. His cake was just as wild, with animals incorporated on it. This is a fun and popular theme, and it always makes me smile!

Incorporating a Theme Into an Entire Session
One of my favorite things about this session is how they really incorporated the Wild One theme into the entire session, not just the cake smash. Typically in these one year sessions I start off with some family or solo portraits depending on what the client is looking for. And then we transition into the cake smash portion of the session. In many cases that means two entirely different looks and vibes to the session. Sometimes, like during this Tewksbury cake smash, even the solo photos have the same theme. Mr. N’s Wild One shirt and super cute safari vibes shorts and suspenders are definitely on theme. But so is big sister’s animal skirt and headband! I love that both kiddos got into the wild spirit to celebrate Mr. N’s big ONE.
