Braintree Newborn Photos :: Mr. B
There are so many aspects of my job that are super rewarding. One of the most rewarding things by far is getting to see teeny tiny babies that I photographed grow up. And it’s even more exciting when I get to see them become big brothers and sisters! In this case, I got to see both of this little man’s brothers go from teeny tiny newborns to brand new big brothers. When I first met this awesome family from Braintree, it was for big brother B’s newborn photos. I saw them again for his 9 month and 1 year sessions because his family took advantage of my baby’s first year session package. Then when big brother C was born I took his newborn portraits, too! They’ve also gotten outdoor fall family portraits in the past.
Mom and Dad own and operate CrossFit Southie. We didn’t incorporate any CrossFit into this newborn session, but make sure you check out his biggest brother’s newborn session to see one of my favorites (and one of my most viewed on Pinterest!).
Styling Ideas for Newborn Photos
The styling for the family photo portion of this session was super simple and classic. I love that mom and both big brothers are in white tops. Dad’s brown top contrasts perfectly. And Mr. B is the perfect pop of color in his navy blue swaddle. These photos are timeless because of the neutral colors.
For Mr. B’s solo portraits, we had a little fun. The bowtie is one of my absolute favorites. I mean, does it get cuter than a newborn baby in a bowtie?! Oh wait! It does. Introducing: Mr. Snowman! This photo was taken over a year ago and I still absolutely cannot get over it. Not only is it beyond adorable, but the perfect way to get just a little winter fun into what is otherwise a classic, timeless photoshoot.
Sibling Photos
I love including older siblings in newborn photo sessions. And the truth is, any session is a great time to celebrate the bond of siblings! I have one older brother, and I love getting to watch my twin daughters grow up with a sister beside them every step of the way. Growing up watching my parents with their siblings, growing older with my own brother, and now watching my little ones getting bigger, I know the importance of siblings.
