Mr. P’s Stars and Moon Cake Smash (with a Gucci twist) :: Burlington MA Photographer
Sweet Mr. P and his family came from Burlington MA to my Andover studio for his stars and moon cake smash! Not only was Mr. P an absolute rock star of a model, but his whole family was as well. Mom, dad, and his grandmother were all included in the family portraits. I also got some photos of Mr. P with each of his parents. I love that Mr. P and his dad had matching Gucci shirts (he’s one and already way cooler than I will ever be!) I love when parents bring along grandparents for photos. I know how important these family members are to our little ones.

Incorporating Themes in Your Photos
If you’ve read my blog before you probably know I love a good theme. Especially when it comes to cake smash photos. Whether it’s a super intricate theme or more of a styling inspiration, I love it. For this cake smash session, we used a moon and stars theme. This theme is a great choice because there are so many different ways to incorporate stars and moon into a photo session. In this case, it was a black backdrop, moon and stars garland, and of course a cake full of stars. Some gold and silver balloons added a little extra festivity to the set. Simple and clean while still incorporating a wanted theme. The best of both worlds!
