Mr A’s Newborn Photos near Arlington MA
Sweet Mr. A and his parents came to my studio from nearby Arlington MA for his newborn portraits. It was my first time meeting him, but I had met his mom and dad, and his big sister, for mama’s maternity photos. I was so excited to meet this little man after spending time with mom and dad for their first session. And since these photos, I’ve seen them all again. I helped them celebrate Mr. A’s first birthday with a cake smash photo shoot. Getting to watch little guys like this one grow up is just one perk to being an Arlington area newborn photographer!
I was able to capture what I like to call a double rainbow photo in this session. This means I got wide open eyes AND a smile. Now before you ask, this was absolutely all Mr. A’s doing. I was quick with the camera, but other than that he did all the work! Which is why this is a magical kind of photo. It doesn’t happen often, but every time it does, it makes me smile.

More From This Arlington Newborn Session
For these photos, it was all about shades of blue. I love the timeless feel of these photos. The different shades of blue and gray are a classic choice. The light blue makes Mr. A pop against his parents in black and the dark wood backdrop. The knit winter hat adds just the right cozy touch while he lays on top of the wooden bed prop. We did add a basketball into one set. This is an easy way to add a personal touch to a photograph. I’m always happy to include props and accessories into a session. Whether this means using something from my huge collection in the studio, or something you bring from home.

Displaying Your Artwork At Home
One of the greatest things about being a photographer is getting to see my clients so happy with their artwork. This is why I try to make the process of choosing and ordering prints and products as easy and stress free as possible. I offer complementary in person viewing sessions. Clients come to the studio and the photos are projected onto the wall. This way you’re seeing your portraits in full resolution for the first time instead of on your phone screen. I also am able to create wall mock-ups to show you how your photos will look on your very own walls. Below is a mock up of a canvas in a nursery.
