Southern NH Newborn Photos :: Little Guy A
Mr. A and his family came to my studio from southern New Hampshire for his newborn photos. It was my first time meeting this cutie, but his family had been in my studio before for his mama’s maternity session. I would have photographed his big sister when she was a teeny baby, but I was busy expecting two little ones of my own!
For Mr. A’s session, mom and dad brought with them a little personal touch for his photos. The little bird figurine is something that is meaningful to them and makes the photos with it extra special. I love when parents bring along sentimental objects for me to work into the photos.

Including Big Siblings In These Southern NH Newborn Photos
Parents ask me all the time if they should include big siblings in the newborn session. I always say absolutely they should. Of course every family is different, and only parents can ultimately make the right decision for their family, but I always encourage it. Not only does involving older siblings make for great photos, but the session is also a great bonding experience. With a new baby in the family, it’s easy for older siblings to feel a little left out. Letting them be a part of a newborn session is a great way to make them feel included. Plus, depending on the age of the older sibling, they can even “help” during the session.
During this session, Mr. A shared the spotlight with his big sister, Miss C. She was super sweet with her baby brother. Plus she was a great model on her own. How precious is the little toe point she has going on? Adorable.

Displaying Your Newborn Portraits At Home
I know I sound like a broken record. But it really is true that these tiny little babies don’t stay tiny for long. Which is why it’s so important to get prints and products form your newborn session. One day you’ll be looking at your big kid and saying “where did my tiny baby go!?” And then you can go stare at the newborn portrait you have hanging on your wall and reminisce! Whether you’re interested in a single piece of wall art, or a collection of them, I can help you choose what’s right for you. I can help you choose between framed artwork and canvases, and I can even help you figure out what size is right for your home. Just send me a photo of the wall (or walls) you’re looking to decorate and I can digitally add your photos. Like (technological) magic!
Here are two examples using the photos from this Southern NH newborn session. The first one is an example of just a single gallery wrapped canvas, while the other is a wall gallery including three canvases. You can see how different sizes and configurations look in different spaces depending on the furniture.
