Merrimack Valley Newborn Photographer
I was able to meet Miss A and her parents from the Merrimack Valley for her newborn portraits. She was a total doll. I started off the day with some shots of Miss A with her parents. I usually do this as a way to ease both baby and parents into the session. Then Miss A takes the center stage. She was a rockstar and slept so great, which meant I was able to get a ton of poses with her. Including a shot with this little stuffed dog her parents brought along as a nod to their pup at home. I love getting to incorporate personal touches into the portraits.

Styling Inspiration From this Merrimack Valley Newborn Session
Neutrals were the main color scheme for this newborn session. But I did use a pop of yellow for some of the shots, which I am absolutely loving right now. Yellow is such a happy color, and there are few things that bring as much happiness as a new baby!
Neutrals my jam. Especially for newborn babies. Not only is it such a great, natural look, but it also lets me play around with texture. The way that textures play with one another visually is something that is so fun for me to explore. I love the way that the chunky knit blanket looks next to the white fur. Or the way a soft swaddle looks next to a plush blanket. Texture is a fantastic way to get dimension and variety without using a lot of colors.
