Boston Newborn Photographer with Baby B

Miss B and her mama from Boston came to my studio for her newborn session. This one was super fun for me. Mama is a chef (super cool!) and wanted to incorporate her passion into her baby’s photos in some way. I loved being able to use different vegetables in the portraits with Miss B. And Miss B was certainly a great little model. She gave me such an intense stare down at one point. Her big, bright eyes were so pretty! And it’s not often I get to capture a bright eyed gaze from a newborn, so this one felt like a unicorn sighting!

Styling For This Fun, Chef inspired Newborn Session

I love a natural, rustic styling. This is definitely something I have so much fun playing with. For this session, since mom is a chef, I included some vegetables in the shoot. Being able to incorporate personal touches into a newborn session is something I always enjoy. But when it’s something as cool as an artichoke, I love it even more! The color scheme throughout the session was kept neutral for the most part. There was a touch of pink thrown in, but otherwise different shades of white, ivory and brown were throughout the shoot. I love using these warm, earthy colors. And they worked perfectly with the different veggies.
