Bedford MA Maternity Photographer :: Outdoor Portraits with Big Brother

I met up with Mama C at her Bedford MA home for her maternity photos. I got to meet her husband and her adorable toddler son also. I love taking maternity portraits, because it’s a time full of excitement and anticipation. And having the big brother along for the portraits is such a great way to get him excited for his new sibling. Also, it’s such a great bonding moment for son and mom. I love the photos of him resting on his mama’s belly, in her arms. But my favorite is probably him giving her baby bump a sweet kiss. He’s already a great big brother!

What To Wear For A Maternity Session

The most important thing to keep in mind when choosing an outfit for a maternity session is feeling comfortable! My first priority is always the comfort of those in my photos, and with maternity that means mama’s comfort level is number one. For this session, Mama C chose this great maxi dress. It’s a perfect choice because while it’s a neutral color scheme, the print adds the perfect amount of interest to the photos. And I love that the big brother ends up being the pop of color! His colorful shirt is just what the group photos need.
