Essex MA Maternity Photographer

Pregnancy is such a fun, exciting, amazing time. This is why I love being able to capture this time for the new parents. It’s true what they say, expecting mamas truly do glow. And this mama-to-be is no exception! I met up with these soon-to-be parents and their fur baby from Essex MA. It was so great to be able to be outside and in the sunshine (something I’m seriously missing during this snowy so-called spring!) When it comes to maternity shoots, I love being able to incorporate family, and in this case the family dog is definitely included!

Styling For A Maternity Session

I love the styling for this session. It’s easy to overthink what to wear when it comes to portraits. They last forever, so of course the styling is something to consider. In my opinion, less can be more! I love the way that the white and the black pop against the colorful and busy outdoor backdrop. The white in particular is such a clean and beautiful choice. The most important thing for a maternity session is that mom feels beautiful, and that starts with making sure she feels comfortable. I always make sure I have plenty of dresses, wraps, and accessories to help make this possible.
