Five Week Old Infant Photos Massachusetts

Baby W’s 5 Week Infant Photos in Massachusetts

Baby W was 5 weeks old when he came to my Massachusetts studio for his infant photos. Five weeks may be “older” than the suggested age for the curled up, sleepy newborn photos, but I am able to style the session similarly. A big difference is that with a 5 week old, we’re likely to get a lot more awake shots. That we did and I absolutely love them!

The main difference between a newborn session and a 5 week session is which poses I’m able to get baby comfortably and safely into. Since at 5 weeks your little one is more alert, some of those sleeping baby, bum in the air poses aren’t as possible. But any age is the right age to photograph! Check out this blog post about the next milestone age after newborn: Why We Love 3 Month Baby Portraits.

Details From This Massachusetts Baby Portrait Session

Baby W was the absolute cutest and so snuggly. He had his parents, grand parents and a great grandma on hand for extended family portraits. One of my favorite portraits from the session is his great grandma giving him a smooch (black and white portrait below). At the end of the session Mama brought out the cutest, tiniest little Santa suit you have ever seen. Scroll all the way to the bottom to see the cutest lil Santa!

Choosing Prints and Products

After your session, it’s time to choose which prints and products work best for your family. For some, that means loose prints to give as gifts or frame on your own. For others, custom made albums are the perfect option. And still for others the number one choice is wall art in the form of custom framed prints or gallery wrapped canvases. My team and I are here to help you make these decisions. If wall art is your choice, we can help you decide the right size for your walls. One way we do this is by creating custom wall art mock-ups. Below is an example of this.
