Best Massachusetts Newborn Portraits

Baby Girl Z’s Newborn Portraits by a Massachusetts Photographer

I had a blast during this baby girls recent Massachusetts newborn portraits. And of course, her parents came along, too. I took some family portraits, and some of each parent with Miss Z. I typically start off any full length newborn session with family portraits. This is especially helpful if babies aren’t fully asleep yet at the start of the session. It also helps to make sure that mom, dad, and baby are all comfortable in the studio and with me and my assistant.

Details From This Newborn Photography Session

If you’ve checked out other Massachusetts newborn photography session blog posts of mine, or if you’ve been in my studio, you know I love me a newborn prop. I have tiny beds, suitcases, bowls, baskets, you name it. And this little lady was such a sweet, sleepy little one who really didn’t mind me putting her in all sorts of props and positions. And (spoiler alert!) that included me propping her up inside of a drawer! This photo is just proof that if you put your mind to it, almost anything can be a newborn prop. Now excuse me as I go brainstorm more prop ideas…

For props and accessories (the kind you don’t re-purpose from old furniture) I always check Etsy first. Pinterest is another great place to get ideas and inspiration. We have a Newborn Photo Ideas Pinterest board for more newborn portrait inspiration.

Displaying Your Photos At Home

After your Massachusetts newborn portraits session is done, it’s time to choose what prints and products you would like. As a mom, I know how exhausting those early days can be. Which is why my goal is to make the entire photo session as easy and stress-free as possible. This includes after the session. I offer in-studio and virtual viewing and ordering sessions to help clients choose the best products for them. You can read about all of the print and product options here: What To Do With Your Photos.

For clients who are interested in wall art, I’m even able to show them how their photos will look on their wall. Using the magic of technology, that is. I am able to create custom wall art mock-ups using a photo of a client’s wall and their portraits. These mock-ups are available for both framed artwork and canvases (or a gallery with a mix of both!). Email me today to get the process started.
