Watertown Newborn Photography :: Mr. B
Mr. B came to visit my studio for his newborn photos from Watertown. And he pretty much rocked his newborn session. He was totally chill while I propped him up, posed him, changed his setups. And he slept throughout it all. Newborn babies are pretty awesome in this respect.
The studio is kept super warm and I have quite a few tricks up my sleeve to keep a sleeping baby asleep. It helps that they’re pretty adorable, too. And Mr. B was definitely adorable. I’m loving how his blonde hair looks in these photos. But I think one of my favorite shots from the whole session is mom and baby nose to nose. There’s nothing quite like the bond between mama and baby!
Color Choices For Baby Boy Newborn Session
The color choices for this newborn session were primarily classic choices. Blue, gray, and white are colors that you can never really go wrong with. And, as an added bonus, dark blue, light blue, and white are the colors of Dad’s alma mater Penn State. This is a perfect way to add a personal touch to a session. We paid extra homage to Penn State in the form of a football and adorable pom-pom hat. I always love being able to add personal touches to photo sessions, and I always welcome props from home. I have a ton of props in my studio, but nothing can beat one from home.
An example of props from my studio can also be seen down below. Since this session was from October, mom wanted to have a few photos for possible Christmas cards. Polar bears, a vintage coca cola case and some pine cones add a perfect classic winter-y touch. It almost makes me excited for winter ….. almost.
