Mr. B’s Newborn Photography Session :: Tewksbury Photographer

This adorable little guy and his family came to my photography studio from nearby Tewksbury for his newborn portraits. We started off with some family photos of the family of four. There is something extra special about the first family portraits after a new arrival. Then I switched my focus to Mr. B, and of course his big sister! Whenever parents mention an older sibling, or siblings, I always let them know that the siblings are more than welcome during the session. Some parents choose to keep the focus on just the newborn and not include siblings, which is totally okay. But many bring big siblings along for the ride. And the sibling shots frequently end up being some of my favorites from these newborn sessions!

For this session, I really love how big sis gave her brand new baby brother some cuddles and kisses. This pose is one that I use all the time. Not only is it beyond adorable, but it’s also one of the safest and easiest poses for big siblings with brand new babies. There are boppy pillows, rolled up blankets and towels underneath the cozy white fur making sure that big sis AND baby bro are both comfy cozy. Safety is always my top priority for any session, especially newborn.
