There is something especially meaningful about photographing a family year after year and watching a child slowly grow into their personality. I first “met” Miss A during her mom’s maternity session, and over the years we’ve documented so many milestones together. Since her little brother arrived, I’ve had the chance to photograph his milestones too, which makes these sessions feel even more personal. Two year olds bring so much personality into the studio. Some are shy and observant. Others walk in ready to twirl, laugh, and explore every corner of the room. Miss A fully embraced the magic of her Cinderella toddler photos from the moment we started.

The castle backdrop paired perfectly with her blue princess dress and created just enough storybook magic without feeling overdone. Some of my favorite moments were the completely unscripted ones where she danced, pointed excitedly at the backdrop, or proudly showed off her dress.
