Family, Newborn, and Brother Photos for Mr. M :: Somerville MA Photographer

This sweet little man was baby boy number two for this family. And all four of them made the trek from Somerville MA to my studio for newborn photos. We started off with some adorable family pictures. Then moved onto some truly adorable photos of newborn M and his big brother. And then the focus was on Mr. M alone. When it comes to newborn sessions, some parents prefer to keep the focus on just the new arrival. Some place a higher priority on family photos. And some parents want an even mix of the two. If you’re adding a new little one to your family, I really must encourage you to get sibling photos.

Mr. M’s big brother Mr. C was 8 at the time of these photos. He did such a great job with his baby brother. Which meant I was able to get some of my favorite sibling poses. I love when big sibling is old enough to be able to comfortably and safely hold their baby brother for newborn photos. I took some of Mr. M cradled in big bro’s lap. And some of big brother on the floor, knees bent, Mr. M safely held on his legs, looking at one another. I love this pose, it’s not one I can always get in sibling photos. But whenever there is a sibling old enough I always try for it!
