6 Month Photos for Mr. S :: Billerica MA Photographer

This dapper little man came to my studio from Billerica for his 6 month photos. And oh man, those smiles! Six months is such a fun age. Both as a parent and as a photographer. This milestone, which we call the sitter session, is such a fantastic one to photograph. As the name implies, it happens when your little one is able to sit safely on their own. Typically this is between 6-9 months. The perfect halfway mark between newborn photos and cake smash sessions, I absolutely adore this milestone. At six months your baby is able to interact and react enough to get some really great smiles (that aren’t just from gas!). They’re old enough to sit unattended, but not old enough to be mobile, which makes it much easier to capture those adorable laying on their belly poses, for one.

And the clothes are beyond adorable. Like Mr. S in his little mini suit (swoon), suspenders and bowtie, or his fluffy one piece. No matter how you choose to dress your little man or lady, they’re sure to look adorable in their 6 month photos! During newborn photos babies are typically just swaddled. And for cake smash photos the messiness has to be taken into consideration. Making these 6 month photos the perfect opportunity to really show off their (or your) style!
