What to Wear for Santa and Holiday Photos :: Christmas Pajamas Edition
I know it’s still technically fall in the real world. But in the world of Crabapple Photography we are fully into the Christmas and Holiday season. In order to fit in as many clients as I possibly can, AND get them their photos in time for the holidays, holiday portraits start pretty early each year. Which means while everyone else is decorating for fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving–I am in Christmas decorating mode. And part of prepping for Christmas and Santa portrait sessions means helping clients come up with ideas of what to wear. I started writing these styling guides a few years ago and every year I try and update them with links of things that are currently for sale. Today’s guide is all about one of my favorite styling choices for Christmas photos, which of course, means pajamas!
Whether your Christmas/Santa photo is just of your kiddos or the whole family. Christmas pajamas are always a great idea when it comes to these portraits. For one thing, they’re pretty equal parts adorable, classic, and hilarious. Plus they’re super comfy cozy which is a definite plus for portrait sessions. If your little one (or your husband…) is uncomfortable during their photos you can definitely tell. But if they’re wearing warm, comfy pajamas? Genuine smiles all around. And if they get to see their parents in matching Christmas pajamas for photos? Even better!
