Teddy Bear One Year and Cake Smash Photos for Mr. R :: Melrose MA Photographer

This Teddy Bear cake smash is so adorable, and so easy to recreate! One of Little Man R’s family nicknames is actually “Bear” which made this theme especially appropriate. For this sweet teddy bear theme, we started off with teddy bears mom brought from home. Balloons in shades of brown, gold and white came next. And a little added sparkle in the form of some twinkle lights. Instead of doing a balloon arch for this session I actually bunched the balloons together and weighted them down. I love the way it turned out! Mr. R in his suspenders was also especially adorable. The finishing touch was a very sweet Teddy Bear cake. And I think it’s safe to say Mr. R enjoyed his birthday cake!

I first photographed this little guy for his newborn photos. Some of the props used for that session were some of my favorites. So needless to say I was super excited to see what his parents would come up with for this cake smash session. You can see his adorable newborn session here, too.
