Timeless Newborn Photos for Baby Boy A :: Boston MA Photographer
Timeless is one of those words that definitely means different things to different people. Which is why when parents use a word like timeless for describing their newborn photos, I’m always sure to ask more questions to get a good idea of what exactly that means to them. For me, timeless means using subdued or neutral tones for the color palette. Pops of colors can definitely still be considered timeless. In this case, the pops of blue were the perfect touch. When it comes to timeless props and accessories, I think anything that is vintage (or vintage inspired) or anything that isn’t too flashy or trendy is timeless. For Mr. A it was a small wooden bed and a white bowl. I love the way that the brown of the bed lends a nice earthy, natural touch. And the white bowl matches seamlessly with the rest of the set up.
For the family portion of this session I kept it simple with just the dark wood back drop. Mom and dad wore dark navy, while big sis was in a sweet floral dress and Mr. A was swaddled in a lovely light blue. When it comes to sibling photos there are a few different ways to pose. Having baby in a sweet prop and big sister sitting behind him is a great way to have safe and adorable (and timeless) sibling photos with a newborn.
