Mr. E’s Traditional 1 Year and Cake Smash Baby Photos with Hanbok :: Sudbury MA Photographer

I absolutely adore when families include special traditions or rituals from their culture in their baby photos. There is something extra special when the modern baby photos can get a traditional twist–like when it came to Mr. E wearing a traditional hanbok. This session was to celebrate his first birthday, first with the traditional clothing and family photos. And then with a cake smash! His denim overalls were beyond adorable (I love a baby in overalls!). And I love how his cake smash was sweet and simple, but with great pops of colors thanks to the balloons. You never know if a baby is going to actually smash (or even eat) their cake during one of these sessions. Mr. E ate some of his (and some snacks mom put on top!) so I’m going to call it a win!
