Miss E’s Boho Cake Smash Photos With Flowers :: Lexington MA Photographer
I love everything about this session. From the family and sibling photos in front of the seamless white paper. To the perfectly boho cake smash photos with flowers. Everything was light, airy, and beautiful. The styling was perfect as well. Both girls in matching pink dresses and white leggings while mom and dad kept it simple and neutral. The set design got a little more intricate for some sister photos with my beloved canvas tent. This set piece is great because it adds a little boho and whimsical feel to photos without needing much in terms of accessories. But then once all of the portraits were taken, it was time to get down to business. And by business, I mean Miss E’s boho cake smash with flowers, of course!
The embroidery hoops with faux flowers are super popular and I do not blame parents. They’re the perfect backdrop for a cake smash! Add some extra faux greenery, some scattered flower petals, and the ONE wooden letters and the design is perfect. Fun fact about this session: Miss E was not a fan of the cake, at all. This is more common than people think! So to make sure we kept the smiles, we went for the art of distraction! Music, some snacks, and her big sister all helped to keep those smiles going. And as you can see, it totally worked. One of the things to keep in mind when it comes to dealing with little ones, they love to keep you on your toes. But it all works out in the end.
