Ideas for Neutral Newborn Photo Styling :: Cambridge MA Photographer
I first met this Cambridge MA family for big sister Miss E’s outdoor 6 month sitter session, and saw them again for her first birthday cake smash photos. Over the years I saw them again for some mini sessions. I was so happy that I got to meet little Mr. M for his newborn portraits. Getting to help this awesome family welcome their newest arrival was so much fun for me. And I’m so glad that I get to share this session as inspiration for others looking for clean, simple, neutral styling ideas for their newborn photos.
I am always happy to get super colorful during sessions. But sometimes, it’s the neutral styling that has my heart for newborn portraits. Mainly because there is still SO MUCH you can do while keeping it clean and simple. In this session, there were some sets that were super simple and clean with shades of whites and grays. I also had a few different sets utilizing different shades of brown. Whether you prefer earthy warm tones, or cooler grays, there is something for everyone. And staying simple and neutral doesn’t mean you have to shy away from props. I have so many to choose from!
