Boston Family Christmas Photos… And a Cake Smash!

This session is a fun example of what came first? The cake smash or the Christmas photos?! In this case it was definitely a mix of both. I had previously photographed big bro for his cake smash which you can see here: Shades of Blue Cake Smash. Mom wanted to celebrate Mr. L’s first birthday with a cake smash celebration just like big bro. But since his birthday is in late fall it was the perfect time to get some fun and festive Christmas family photos… and a cake smash on the side! His cake smash was all about BLUE just like his bright blue eyes. And when it came to the family Christmas photos we kept it a bit lowkey. Matching pajamas, Santa hats, and a touch of (digitally added) magic.
