Fall Family Photos :: North of Boston Photographer

I love getting the chance to catch up with families during the fall for family photos. It truly is the perfect time for outdoor family pictures north of Boston. For one thing, the timing is perfect to get an updated family photo in time for holiday cards at the end of the year. Not to mention the backdrop of fall foliage is breathtaking. Plus, the weather is (typically) gorgeous. On this day, however, New England proved that you can never truly prepare ahead for weather. It was actually FREEZING. Like, I was in multiple pairs of pants and sweaters and jackets level freezing. But thankfully my assistant and I work like a well oiled machine and we were able to move quickly and capture all of the sweet moments between these families.

The weather is the number one reason I tell parents to make sure you are dressing comfortably and in layers. Because the truth is sometimes it’s very hot in the fall, and sometimes it’s freezing. And as much as I love the cute and aesthetically pleasing fall themed outfits, the most important thing is that everyone is comfortable!
