Little Dude H’s Newborn Portraits :: Greater Boston Newborn Photographer
Little Dude H came to my studio for his newborn portraits with his parents and big brother. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job as a Greater Boston newborn photographer is knowing that parents trust me to capture these special moments. And knowing that they trust me enough that they bring back their second child? That is so, so special to me. I had photographed Mr H’s big brother, Mr. B, for his own newborn portraits back in 2017. Styling Ideas for These Newborn Photos
For this newborn portrait session, mom was interested in a similar color scheme as big brother’s photos. But she also said she was open to changing it up a bit. For big brother, we used creams, browns, grays and blues. I stuck with an overall neutral theme again for Mr. H’s portraits. I did also use a pop of green to add a different touch. When parents come back for their second (or third, fourth, etc.) child I like to create a cohesive flow while also having variety. This way parents don’t have to worry about their wall art from different sessions clashing on their walls.
Wall art is something that I ask parents about before their session. It’s always a good idea to think about color scheme and decor prior to your session. If you have a very rustic-chic style in your home, I can absolutely incorporate that into your session. Or if you have a much more minimalist style, we can keep your portraits simple and clean as well. My goal as a Greater Boston newborn photographer is to make the entire process from pre-planning to post-session as easy and stress-free as possible.
