Watertown Newborn Pictures :: Mr. M
Sweet Mr. M and his family came to my Andover, MA studio from Watertown for his newborn pictures. There are so many reasons that I love getting the opportunity to be a newborn photographer, and getting to spend my days with sweet little ones like this is at the top of my list. Some parents stress out when their newborn is awake during the session. But Mr. M and I are here to tell (and show) you that it’s okay! The worst that will happen is I keep your little one swaddled and cozy. And more often than not, they eventually fall right back to sleep like Mr. M here. I was able to capture some great photos of his big handsome eyes, and get the sleepy, curled up, poses. The best of both worlds, truly.

Using Neutrals in Newborn Photos
I love getting to take bright and colorful photos. But for newborn photos especially, I love when parents decide to keep it all neutral. There is something so timeless about it! And an added benefit to keeping the color scheme neutral is that no matter how you decorate your home, your portraits will always match your decor perfectly. The white white on white look down below is one of my favorites. Mr. M stands out and all the white fades away around him. It’s the perfect blend of simple and natural, with a touch of whimsy. I love when a cozy knit hat is the only real pop of color. And thankfully, I have a rather large assortment of newborn hats in the studio for you to use. No matter what your style or aesthetic is, I mean it when I saw I have something for everyone!
