Merrimack Valley Newborn Photos :: Baby V
Baby V and his family came to my studio in the Merrimack Valley for his newborn photos. I had previously taken his mama’s maternity photos and they turned out great. We had started in the studio and ended with some outdoor portraits that we were just able to beat the rain to take. I was so happy to meet sweet Mr. V! He was wide awake in the beginning of his session, which meant I was able to capture some photos that included his big brown eyes. But then (thanks to a snack!) he fell asleep and it was all about those sleepy baby poses.
There are so many different newborn poses. And each one is adorable in their own way. But I recently sat down and decided which poses are my absolute must haves. And then I wrote a blog post about it. Check that out here: Must Have Newborn Photos to Capture.
Including Extended Family in these Merrimack Valley Newborn Portraits
When living away from family, having a baby can be bittersweet. Sweet because you’re having a baby! But the lack of support in the area brings a little bitterness. For this new family, their support came to them. Mom’s sister was visiting, and Dad’s parents and sister were also in town. So they all came along for the session! I love getting to include extended family in these newborn photos. As someone with a very close extended family, I know how important these grandparents and aunts will be to baby V.
Mom and dad also brought along these Facebook t-shirts for everyone to wear!
What Mom is Saying
We had a maternity and newborn shoot with Kate. It was an amazing experience. Kate helped us out with everything possible and all we had to do was show up for the shoot! It was hassle free and quick! Thank you for the brilliant captures. Would definitely be returning soon for some more! – Baby V’s mom. See more customer testimonials here.
Creating a Gallery Wall at Home
Over the years, gallery walls have become more and more popular on apps like Pinterest and Instagram. And while they may seem next to impossible to create on your own, my team and I can help. Thanks to technology, we are able to take a picture of your wall (that you send to us) and digitally add your pictures. Do you prefer gallery wrapped canvases? We can create a gallery wall full of them. Prefer framed artwork? We can do that, too. Want a little bit of both? I love it! Either way, we have you covered. Email me today to get the process started in your home!
