Watertown MA Firefighter Baby Photoshoot Ideas :: Miss E

I think most people would agree with me when I say that firefighters are true heroes. They don’t need capes or masks or magic powers for us to know that they’re brave and courageous. I had always believed this to be true, but it became even more real to me after the gas explosions that happened last fall. Thankfully my house was fine and I didn’t need to rely on firefighters to protect my home, but there were others that weren’t as lucky. It was a great reminder how brave these men and women are all the time.

I am sure Miss E will love having her very own superhero in the form of her firefighter daddy!

Incorporating Personal Touches In Newborn Photos

When I found out that Miss E’s dad was a Watertown firefighter, and that they wanted to include this in her newborn photos, I was thrilled. I’m a big believer in incorporating personal touches into newborn sessions. Whether it’s a little something from home, or a larger prop, I always love the challenge of finding out how to include these.

For this session, getting to put sweet Miss E in here daddy’s helmet and seeing her sleep on his jacket was extra special. I’ve taken photos of little ones with their daddy’s in uniform before, and it’s something that always makes me smile when I look at the photos. Click here to see some military newborn photo ideas.
