Baby Photographer North Shore MA :: Miss A
Miss A and her family from the North Shore came to my photography studio for her six month baby photos. I had previously taken her newborn portraits. And I had even photographed her big sister as a baby! Since this session I have seen them again for Miss A’s cake smash photos. These six month baby photos are so much fun, and I love getting to be a North Shore baby photographer!
Baby’s first year photo packages are a great way to make sure that all of the milestones from the first year are captured. That year truly does fly by, especially with more than one kiddo to take care of. With one of these packages, mom and dad can be sure that each milestone will be recorded and celebrated. Baby photo sessions are the perfect way to celebrate first year milestones.
Including Siblings In This North Shore Baby Portrait Session
Six months is such a fun age to photograph. Between the ages of 6-9 months, baby can sit on their own. Which is why we call these sessions sitter sessions. By this point, their personalities are clear, they interact with you in new and often hilarious ways and, of course, they can sit up. This last point is super exciting for me as a baby photographer because it means versatility. I have a lot of props and many of them I am able to use in a variety of ways. For example, the wooden bowl Miss A is sitting in? She was sweetly and sleepily curled up in that very same bowl during her newborn photographs!
While this session was to celebrate Miss A reaching this fun new milestone, mom and dad also wanted to capture some photos of her with her big sister. Sisters have such a special bond, and I think that bond is clear in these photos. Big sis was so sweet with her baby sister. I love the shot of them holding hands and looking at one another. It’s like they’re telling secrets already.
Sibling portraits are a perfect excuse to get some matching outfits (how cute do these two look in their dresses?!). Some of our favorite stores to get sibling outfits are Gap, Old Navy, or Janie and Jack.
How to Display Art Work From Your Baby and Family Photo Session
After your family and baby portrait session there are still some decisions to be made. How would you like to display your new portraits? This can seem a bit of a daunting task. However we try to make it as easy (and painless) a decision as possible. Firstly we offer complimentary viewing sessions. These viewing sessions are all about letting you see your portraits in a stress free setting. We project your images onto the wall so that the first time you’re seeing them, they aren’t tiny on your phone screen. Then we work individually with you to make sure that you are getting the art work that you want.
We also create mock-ups of what your art work will look like on your walls. You send us a photo of your walls, and we take care of the rest. This allows you to get a more accurate idea of the best size, color, and format for your portraits. That way you know exactly what you’re getting and where it will go. These mock-ups take all the stress out of ordering your prints! Whether you prefer gallery wrapped canvases, or custom framed artwork.
This North Shore baby photo session wall gallery mock-up is of a sample living room, not the client’s actual living space. But it’s a great example of the mock-ups we can make for you. Sometimes it can be hard enough to imagine how one photo will look on your wall, let alone numerous. In this example, the two portraits work together perfectly (and match the decor–something that we can help you with while planning and styling the session). Oftentimes people want to have two portraits that are the same size, but this isn’t always the case. In this sample, the square canvas and rectangle canvas fill the space perfectly.
