Andover 18 Month Old Portraits :: Miss G
Miss G from Andover came to my studio for her 18 month portraits. As any parent can tell you, 18 months is not the easiest age. In fact, it might be one of the hardest ages to photograph! They’re old enough to know what they like and don’t like, but not quite old enough to listen to reason. But, with a little persistence, not to mention a fair amount of singing and bribing, it can be done! It definitely helps to have an assistant who isn’t afraid to look silly singing and dancing behind me. Plus these photos make it worth it!

Styling Choices For This Session
I love the styling for this session! All of the outfits are ones that I have in my studio. This sweet romper is a great choice for something simple. The neutral color and simplicity match the rustic, vintage vibe of the little bed.
The dress with the tulle skirt is another great option, with an almost completely opposite feel to it. The color is the same neutral, so the entire session has the same color scheme. But the tulle skirt gives the photos a whimsical feel. The best of both worlds!
What Mom is Saying
Kate at Crabapple photography as well as her assistant were both amazing with my 18 month old daughter. 18 months is a very active age and I wasn’t quite sure the shoot was going to go well at first. But, quickly Kate was able to turn that all around. Still after the shoot I wasn’t sure if she was able to catch great pictures because my daughter was constantly on the move. Well, I was more than wrong!
