Lexington MA Pregnancy Photographer :: Maternity Photos with Big Sister

This gorgeous expecting mom came to my studio for her maternity photos from Lexington. It wasn’t my first time meeting her, as I had actually photographed big sister K for her newborn photos!

It definitely wasn’t hard to make this mama look beautiful, she’s already stunning. I love the drama that the purple dress adds to these portraits, especially with the skirt flowing out behind her. This dress and the light blue one are both part of my collection of maternity gowns. These sessions are so special, and it’s important to make these mamas feel as comfortable, gorgeous, and stress free as possible. Which is why I try to have everything necessary in my studio ready for them!

Including Big Sister in Maternity Photos

Big sister K is no stranger to my camera, since I had photographed her as a tiny newborn. I love being able to see these little ones grow. I think including older siblings in maternity photos is a great idea, and I always encourage parents to bring them along. It helps them feel included and helps them get excited.

Since miss K was in the studio, I took the time to grab a few shots of her on her own. She’s three which is such a fun age to photograph. And this girl could seriously be a model. Her big brown eyes are beautiful! And her model stare and her wind blowing in the air? Unreal!
