North of Boston Family Photos :: 2 Year Old Miss B
Last year I met up with Miss B and her family north of Boston for some outdoor family and child photos. I absolutely love the fall for outdoor photos, and this session should be enough for you to see why! This session was a little later in fall. The colors aren’t as vibrant as they are at the start of the season, but they still make for a perfect backdrop. Plus, being outside means having so much fun. Kids are able to stretch their legs and burn off a little energy.
Miss B was so sweet and beyond adorable. I was able to get some great smiles out of her. Two is such a fun age to photograph because they’re able to interact so much. Not to mention it’s just a fun age all around. They have such big personalities in their little bodies. Whenever I’m able to capture those personalities in photos, I’m happy!
Styling For This North of Boston Family and Child Portrait Session
When taking outdoor photos north of Boston, there’s a lot more color and texture to deal with than inside the studio. This can seem like a daunting task. But this session is a perfect example of how neutrals are an amazing choice. I love the way Miss B’s ivory and gold dress works with the shades of brown, green and orange behind her. This tee-pee is such a great prop, especially for an outdoor fall session. The colors continue with the neutral, natural theme of this session. But there’s also something whimsical about it. The mix of rustic and whimsical is great for child portraits. It’s fun and pretty, a combination you can’t go wrong with.
