Newborn Photography Boston :: Baby M
I love meeting any new baby, but it’s definitely a little extra special when I first “met” the little one inside of their mommy’s tummy. I was able to shoot this mama’s maternity photos, you might recognize her from her own blog post not that long ago. It’s still a little crazy to me that this little guy was inside that belly last time I saw his mama. And now, here he is!
I’m a little obsessed with the close up photo of his little pursed lips. Those bubbles! Every little detail of a newborn is so precious and tiny, and they stay that way for such a short time. It’s so important to have these little reminders. Which is why I always try and get some close up shots of the tiny little toes, too!
How to Style a Newborn Session
For this newborn session, we stuck to neutral colors. Neutrals can be such a great choice for so many reasons. The most obvious one is, of course, that neutral colors go with anything. And that includes your home. For portraits that are going to be on display in your home for years to come, this is an important thing to take into consideration. But even beyond that, neutrals are a great choice because of the vibe that they give to the portraits. The different shades of grays and browns are so natural and organic, and lend a warm and cozy feeling to this newborn session. A little added coziness came in the form of beanies for the whole family. All of their family portraits are beautiful, but this one has a little extra dash of adorable.
