Six Week Old Baby Portraits :: South End, Boston MA

I knew I was going to love this baby and her parents. Mama grew up here in the South End of Boston and Dad grew up in Paris. That’s Paris, France, not Paris, Texas for anyone taking note. If you’ve read my blog or my about me page, you know that I studied for my master’s in photography in Paris (I really want to put another joke about France/Texas here but fine, I’ll let it go). It’s always so fun to meet people who have a connection to France. Baby M is one lucky gal to have such cool parents! Speaking of baby girl M, I had the pleasure of meeting her at six weeks old. Sometimes it’s just not possible to get in to the studio when your baby is under 2 weeks old. Baby girl M is a perfect example that beautiful portraits of your baby can be taken at any time!

About this Session

We chose soft textures and dusty pink and purples to incorporate in to the styling of her session. Mama brought quite a few sentimental items to include. I styled a few different sets based off of the fun things she brought. She brought a cute little stuffed animal duck and a beautiful silver rattle. She also brought some really France items with baby girl’s name on it! I don’t like to use specific names on the blog, otherwise I’d share those with you as well. Enjoy these beautiful portraits!
