Happy November! What an absolutely insane statement to make. It truly makes no sense. It was just July and we were relaxing by the lake soaking in the summer air. In general the fall is a very busy time for me as a portrait photographer. Holiday portrait rush and wanting to grab every bit of color left in the trees makes for an extremely busy October. Frankly, I can’t believe it’s over. November will be just as action packed with my studio holiday mini sessions and sessions with Santa coming up. In between all of this holiday goodness I am still photographing tons of newborn babies. There is nothing quite like it.

Baby girl J was one such newborn! She was a treat to have in the studio recently. Her parents are temporarily in Boston and will actually be moving back to their home in Toronto soon. Getting to know families and watch their babies grow up is such a huge reason I love being a photographer, so this news actually makes me sad! I’ll just need to make a quick trip to Toronto for her milestones coming up, that’s all 🙂
