It is the beginning of October. All I want to think about is pumpkin spiced latte and cider donuts. However, if you’re looking for Christmas and holiday photography, now is actually the time to book your session. The season is a crazy busy one around here at Crabapple Photography. In order to get you your portraits in time to choose and design your custom holiday cards, we need to schedule your session earlier than you might think. Yes, too early! I agree with you. But, I also get giddy and excited just thinking about my Christmas sets, so there’s that.
I’ve included some adorable photos from last year’s very successful holiday mini session days. The first little elf I hadn’t seen since his newborn portrait session so I was floored to see this a toddler in front of me! He’s a very happy guy and it shows in his holiday portraits. We took the opportunity to update the family’s portrait. Lots of folks like to include their family photo on their holiday card. Even if you don’t, having a family photo not only for posterity, but to also as gifts for those family members who are so hard to shop for!
The last photo below of him reading a book absolutely slays me. The studious look on his face! Christmas is the most wonderful time of year, I don’t care if it’s only October!
