This past spring I decided to run my first ever Mommy and Me mini sessions. It was a blast and a huge success! I met with tons of Moms and even a few Grandmas. We captured that special Mom and child photos that I hope all of the generations can appreciate one day. I found this quote that I am in love with:

“The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.” Rajneesh

It has been quite the journey in to Motherhood for me. My two 3.5 year olds have opened my eyes and heart in ways I didn’t know was possible. They make me a better person. They actually make me a better photographer as well! I can relate better to “my” Moms and the children as well. I understand each stage and each intricacy.

Moms should be celebrated. And on this beautiful day last Spring, we did just that.
