Studio Photography Valentine’s Day Mini Sessions :: Massachusetts Photographer

Every year I like to offer a few different seasonal mini sessions. I do this a few times a year around certain holidays or seasons. And the very first for the year is Valentine’s Day! I started this a few years ago and it has become an absolute favorite over the years. When you really start thinking about it there are SO MANY fun options when it comes to set design and props. I try to switch it up every year and it’s like a fun game for myself to come up with something even better. Last year I went with this dark red paneled wall with red balloons for the darker option. And the lighter option was an all pink and white bakery set with roses and hearts in addition to all the faux treats. I love that these two wildly different set designs give each gallery so much variety despite only being ~10 separate portraits. Set designs are a great way to make the most of a mini session when it comes to Valentine’s Day studio photography.
Designs, Props, and Accessories
But it’s not JUST about set designs. The props and accessories can make a big difference too. Whether that’s my super adorable Kissing Booth that has been with me for years, some Cupid style bow and arrows, or the ever classic long stemmed roses. And of course, parents can be the real MVP when it comes to styling these sessions by picking out the cutest outfits for these sessions. And this blog post is full of some truly adorable options if you’re looking for some inspiration!
