Photo Ideas for Valentine’s Day Mini Sessions :: Boston MA Photographer

I love any excuse to have fun with my photo sessions. Which is why all of my seasonal mini sessions are truly so much fun for me. Sometimes I start planning out my themes and set designs for next year as soon as this year is over! I offer these seasonal mini sessions a few times a year, and a few years ago I expanded to include Valentine’s Day and I’ve never looked back. These are always so much fun, and there are so many ways to switch it up each year. I always have my handy dandy kissing booth available, which has become a huge fan favorite. But as far as the backdrops go I switch it up year to year. I also always make sure to have two separate sets during these mini sessions. I tend to go with one light and one dark(er) to make sure that each gallery has plenty of variety. Keep scrolling to see more photo ideas for Valentine’s Day!
Sets and Themes for Valentine’s Day Pictures
Last year, my darker set was a really pretty deep burgundy red with a brighter red heart shaped balloon design. I love that it was simple and classy. It made the perfect background for the kissing booth, my light up LOVE sign, and more. For the lighter set, I went with this sweet as can be bakery set design. I love that it still screamed Valentine’s Day, while giving something super different and a bit unexpected. All of the (faux) candy, cakes and treats were such a cute way to add dimension to the photos. I can’t wait to share what this year’s set designs will look like! Reach out now to see if there are available spots for my 2025 Valentine’s Day mini sessions!
