When it comes to the first year of life, I truly do love every single age and milestone. If you asked me to choose a favorite, it would probably be whichever session was most recent (or maybe whichever session I hadn’t had in a while and was missing the most). But that being said, the 6-9 month age range is so special. Lovingly called the “sitter session” since that is the milestone celebrated during these photos. This means your little one is able to sit up with no (or very little) help, but aren’t quite mobile yet. The not being mobile yet is definitely a bonus when it comes to photos, I won’t lie! But the real joy comes from seeing your little one growing into their own little person. While during the 3-4 month sessions, your child will smile and interact, it’s nothing compared to this age range. The ability to interact just grows as your child does and by this point they are just so much fun. In 7 month photos, like this Medford MA session, your child’s personality will truly shine through in every photo!
