Sweet and Girly Newborn Photos for Miss E :: Medford MA Photographer
If I had to come up with one word to describe Miss E’s newborn photos, it would be sweet! We started off with family photos of the brand new family of three. Capturing that first portrait of mom, dad, and baby is so special. The day a new baby is born, so is a mom and a dad. The family has grown and changed. Celebrating that with a portrait of the two smiling parents and their teeny baby is so beautiful. After the family photos it was all about Miss E. The color scheme was kept girly and soft with shades of pinks and purples. Chunky knit blankets and hats added a touch of texture. And my sweetest little wooden heart bowl added just the right touch.
Miss E was about three weeks old during these photos–a little older than the typical newborn photo age. She was still a teeny peanut and slept soundly enough to get her swaddled and posed. While I typically say that the age range is 6-16 days for newborn photos, that is definitely not a hard rule. Every baby is different, so don’t feel like because your baby is already past those 16 days it’s impossible to get sweet newborn photos. Sometimes an older infant will be too alert for all of those typical curled up newborn poses. But as long as you’re open to listening to baby (they’re the boss!) we can make it work!
